Colour Connections brings two artists together exploring colour in painting. John Hedley presents work painted on wood from windfalls from Bodnant Gardens, and from Ynys Môn and Crete using oil and metal relief, revealing the story of the tree in both symbolic and abstract terms through colour. Andrew Smith presents vibrant abstract works on canvas made in response to place and location. Recent residencies in China and Morocco inspire new work made at his Harlech studio.
