For me, drawing is the cornerstone of the work I do, and admire. I like the dynamics of line drawing; it brings the work to life and can evoke a visceral response in me.

Both line, and tone, join together to create rhythm, quiet space and fundamental structure: while seeming only to play around.

I work often directly from subject, but I use my observations to create prints, paintings and ceramic pieces.
