Much of my work is created using the mediums of water colour and gouache, often incorporating a mix of other media. I am, essentially, a painter of landscape; the motifs derived from a variety of sources such as mountain, moorland, countryside and coast.

Drawing is an essential element of my work, whether through sketching or the creation of separate pieces of work, in both dry and wet media. This particular piece of work was sketched on a visit to Cwm Idwal and is part of a sequence of drawings and paintings, based upon the original sketch.
