I am currently an art student based on the coast of North Wales. My work is inspired by the area I have grown up in, where I have been surrounded by beautiful seascapes and mountainous scenery. My family and friends are an inspiration for my work, as I often include their presence. My paintings explore depth and atmosphere in scenes that are intimate and tranquil, as I explore technical and observational skills to capture shadows, light and feeling. I often paint with acrylic or oil to achieve this, as well as sketching with charcoal.
