This life drawing was made while I was studying at the Drawing Academy in Viborg, Denmark in 2023. It was drawn over a period of eight-hours using charcoal pencil. I gained a lot from working on this study, as the medium enabled me to get the darker tones down faster and give myself more time to shape the form in the light. I also learnt the importance of choosing which light source to follow and how simply I could work in the shadow areas.
