I live in the beautiful village called Beddgelert. My inspiration whilst creating art has always been portraits, I like the art of facial expression and capturing the beauty of a loved one, it also inspires me to challenge myself in creating detailed pieces.

My materials are usually colouring pencils and markers, I believe it works best when creating detail in pieces, it allows me to create small details to make a piece come to life.

My inspiration for this drawing means a lot to me, my Nain died of cancer 6 years ago and she was one of my hero’s, she was battling cancer and even had a smile on her face no matter what pain she was in. She would always tell me I was creative and without her I wouldn’t of been here today, so thank you Nain.
