Bryn Humphreys

Biography
I’ve been an artist for the best part of two decades and I never tire of the creative process.
I’m primarily a landscape and seascape artist purely because I’m unavoidably inspired by the subject matter which surrounds me here on the coast of Holyhead.
As a self-taught artist living in Holyhead, I’ve spent the past 21 years capturing the rugged beauty of Snowdonia’s mountains and the sublime coastlines of Anglesey. My work is deeply inspired by my surroundings, Holyhead Mountain and the nearby coastal path where the interplay of light, weather, and landscape fuels my creativity. Through my paintings, I aim to reflect the wild spirit and timeless allure of these places that I call home.
I work from my small studio in the back garden which views directly towards Holyhead Mountain, so it's a naturally inspiring place to work from. It's the place where I am at peace, but also somewhere I invite people to see my work and creative process during the Open Studios event each Easter.
