Philippa attended the Royal College of Art, London.

During the eighties and nineties, she had numerous shows in and around London and was a regular exhibitor at the Mall galleries, mainly the Royal Portrait Society, and the Royal Society of British Artists. She last exhibited her work in Oriel Môn in 2017 to resounding acclaim.

After twenty-five years living at North Stack, Holyhead Mountain, Philippa moved inland to a cottage above Dee Valley, Bala, where she now has her Pen y Braich studio.

Upcoming exhibitions to look out for in 2024 are at Oriel Mon, Canolfan Ucheldre, Dylan Thomas Festival, Caernarfon, Bangor & Blaenau Festiniog, Libraries, RCA Conwy and a forthcoming Autumn show at Oriel Brondanw.
