These two works are the product of recent exploration of using both Indian ink and home-made oak gall ink, which gives a softer but still light-fast mark.

The view of Wenlock Abbey was a fascinating prospect of multiple perspectives, ruined and remaining structures providing a challenge to render in near-monochrome.

The light glancing through winter trees at Bodnant and revealing the textures of bark and leaf litter prompted this drawing.
