My paintings and artist’s books attempt to capture the essence and distillation of a concept or experience. I am interested in exploring memories, sensations and ideas finding connections and structure to give new meaning. Intuitively I seek to find a balance of imagery through simplification, colour and composition.

Blood and Gold – Layers of Time is part of a series of paintings which explore the themes of our planet. For centuries blood and gold have dominated our world, our progress and ultimately the evolution of our species.
