Self Portrait with Restraint is a digital drawing made using an iPad and the Procreate App. As a wheelchair user, I seek to express the daily frustration and anger experienced towards accessibility barriers in society. The work is closely linked to my studies as a BA Fine Art student at Coleg Menai where I explore themes relating to living outside of social norms. Breaking free with an unapologetic approach underpinned by the desire to do this with kindness and joy.
