This is a study from a life drawing session, which I am exploring detail and weight of line. Life drawing is increasingly inspiring to me as it allows me to examine the details that complete a portrait. I enjoy the challenge of using graphite to enhance the minimalistic use of lines which can communicate the complexity of the human form, emotion and poise.
